SANWO-OLU HAILS OYEBANJI FOR ENTRENCHING PURPOSEFUL GOVERNANCE IN EKITI

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commended his Ekiti State counterpart, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for his outstanding leadership and the remarkable transformation taking place in Ekiti State under his administration.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a goodwill message to mark Oyebanji’s third year in office, described the Ekiti leader as a visionary and people-centered governor who has successfully entrenched the culture of purposeful governance, ensuring that every segment of the society feels the impact of government.
According to the Lagos State Governor, Governor Oyebanji’s leadership style — marked by humility, inclusiveness, and a deep sense of responsibility — has restored the people’s confidence in governance and accelerated socio-economic development across Ekiti State.
“Within just three years in office, Governor Oyebanji has redefined governance in Ekiti State,” Sanwo-Olu said. “He has demonstrated that with sincerity, accountability, and focus, government can truly be a force for good. The progress recorded in infrastructure, education, health, and youth empowerment are clear indicators of his commitment to the welfare of his people.”
Governor Sanwo-Olu further lauded Oyebanji’s collaborative approach to leadership, particularly his engagement with traditional rulers, community leaders, and the private sector, which he said has fostered unity, peace, and steady growth in the state.
He expressed confidence that the continuity of such visionary leadership will position Ekiti State as a model for good governance and sustainable development in Nigeria.
