GOVERNOR ODODO SUBMITS REPORT ON EKITI APC GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY
The Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, today visited the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to formally submit the report of the Ekiti APC Governorship Primary Election. Governor Ododo served as the Chairman of the Ekiti State APC Governorship Primary Election Committee.
During the brief presentation ceremony, Governor Ododo expressed appreciation to the leadership of the party and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the confidence reposed in him and the committee. He noted that the entire process was transparent, credible, and conducted in full compliance with legal and procedural guidelines, resulting in a peaceful and hitch-free exercise.
Governor Ododo commended the APC for adopting the consensus mode of primary, describing it as the most harmonious and efficient system for producing party candidates.
Receiving the report on behalf of the National Chairman, the Deputy National Organizing Secretary, Dr. Chidi Duru, praised Governor Ododo and his team for their professionalism and commitment. He stated that the National Working Committee (NWC) is proud of the Governor’s exemplary leadership and the successful conduct of the Ekiti governorship primary.
