GOVERNOR OYEBANJI HOSTS EKITI MUSLIM LEADERS FOR RAMADAN IFTAR
The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on Monday hosted prominent Muslim leaders and faithful across the state to a special Ramadan Iftar at Jibowu Hall, Government House Ground in Ado-Ekiti. The gathering provided an opportunity for reflection, unity, and prayers as Muslim faithful observe the holy month of Ramadan.
The event brought together Islamic scholars, community leaders, government officials, and representatives of various Muslim organisations across Ekiti State. It was a moment of spiritual fellowship where participants broke their fast together and offered prayers for peace, stability, and continued development of the state and the nation.
Speaking during the occasion, Governor Oyebanji emphasized the importance of religious harmony and peaceful coexistence among the people of Ekiti State. He appreciated the Muslim community for their consistent prayers and support for his administration, noting that unity and cooperation among citizens remain vital to sustaining the progress and stability being enjoyed in the state.
