Because the truth is simple—and painful.
Cyril Oluwole Fasuyi has failed Ekiti North.
Walk through our communities. Talk to our youths. Sit with our farmers. Ask the women in the markets.
Then ask yourself one honest question:
What exactly has Cyril Fasuyi done with four years in the Senate?
Because when you look closely, what you see is a Senator who goes to Abuja, occupies space, attends meetings—but brings back almost nothing that can change lives.
Where are the visible constituency projects you can point to without thinking twice?
Where are the sustainable empowerment programmes that people can testify to, not just hear about?
Where is the federal presence that should naturally follow a sitting Senator?
Four years—and Ekiti North is still searching for answers.
Now let’s talk about something even more serious.
Loyalty.
Because leadership is not just about what you do—it is about where you stand when it matters most.
When the party, under Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, made its position clear and backed Godswill Akpabio for Senate leadership, it was a defining moment.
A moment that required discipline.
A moment that required alignment.
But Cyril Fasuyi chose differently.
He aligned with Abdulaziz Yari, for a token.
So the question is simple:
If Cyril Fasuyi could stand against his own party and President at a critical moment, who exactly is he loyal to?
And let’s not ignore the issue of fairness.
Ido/Osi has held this Senate seat for about 12 years.
So it is only right to ask:
What has Ekiti North gained under this long hold—especially in the last four years under Cyril Fasuyi?
Because leadership is not about holding power.
It is about justifying it.
Four years is enough to leave a legacy that speaks for itself.
But today, Cyril Fasuyi is faced with a simple challenge:
there is no strong, undeniable record of impact to defend.
So let’s not complicate 2027.
Do we continue like this?
Or do we make a change?
Because sending Cyril Fasuyi back to the Senate after this kind of performance is not loyalty— it is a disservice to ourselves.
Ekiti North deserves better.
We deserve a Senator who understands that power is responsibility, loyalty matters, and results are not optional.
Cyril Fasuyi has had his chance.
He has shown us his capacity—and his limits.
Now, the decision is ours.
