THE COMMUNIQUE ISSUE BY THE OLOKUN FAMILY ON THE DEFAMATION AND CYBER BULLYING OF THE HEAD OF THE FAMILY AND THE OLOKUN OF IFAKI BY ONE MRS FADEKEMI DAVID KELECHI.
Without prejudice to the meeting held with the Olufaki of Ifaki Oba(Dr) Adegbenro Falore and The Olufaki in council on the 28 march 2026 and the the refusal of The family of Mr David Kelechi to towed the path of honor,We the entire members of Olokun family observe that the person in question Mrs Fadekemi David Kelechi had refused to accept the decision of our refered Kabiyesi and his council,Instead of retracting and pull down the online defamatory video she posted on several social medias to malign the name and integrity of the entire sons and daughters of Olokun Family home and abroad in particular the head of the family in person of High Chief Babatunji Olaiya,a renowned chartered accountant who retired from the federal ministry as a Director after serving meritoriously without blemish,We the entire members of The Olokun Family agreed as follows;
1 That we are not ready to sell the land to anyone who are occupying the land at the moment.
2.That Mr and Mrs David Kelechi should contact the person that sold the land to them.
3.That the olokun family never sold land to the said Mr and Mrs David Kelechi and other trespassers of the land,The other trespassers of the land who are interested on owing the parcel of the land should deal with the olokun family directly.
4.That the Mr and Mrs David Kelechi should pls vacate their properties from the said land.
5.That Mr and Mrs Kelechi David should contact the person that sold the land to them for refund of their money
6.That The Olokun Family shall not hesitate to implement the court order as writing in the court judgement if other trespassers refuse to comply with the agreement reached at Olufaki Palace within the stipulated period.
We are using this medium to appreciate and thank our Royal Father who had been trying to resolve this case for almost two years now,Indeed you a good father that loves growth and development of our town IFAKI EKITI, Kabiyesi we didn’t objects to your decision,but we needs to upholds our integrity as a family.
Lastly we are also using this medium to thanks all the sons and daughters of ifaki home and abroad for there support,we pray that God Almighty will continue to be with all of us.
