Engr. Henrich Bankole Akomolafe, a proud son of Ikere-Ekiti, represents a new generation of visionary leaders committed to purposeful service and community advancement. Raised in a community renowned for its strong cultural heritage and tradition of public responsibility, he developed early in life a passion for innovation, leadership, and meaningful societal impact.
With an impressive academic background, Engr. Akomolafe combines engineering expertise with global leadership training. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, Ukraine, a Master’s degree in ITC Strategic Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona School of Management, Spain, and a Professional MBA from IESE Business School, Spain. This blend of technical and managerial knowledge has equipped him with the skills necessary for modern governance and strategic development.
Professionally, he serves as the Managing Director of Akotex Elevator Company, a Nigerian engineering firm involved in the installation and maintenance of elevators and vertical mobility systems. Through his leadership, the company has executed several projects across the country while creating employment opportunities for engineers and young professionals.
Beyond business, Engr. Akomolafe has demonstrated a strong commitment to youth empowerment and community development. Through initiatives such as Henrich FC and the Àtúnkọ́ Unity Cup, he has created platforms for young people to develop their talents, promote unity among communities, and build positive pathways for the next generation.
As a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Akomolafe aligns with the progressive leadership vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji. His aspiration to represent Ikere, Ise/Orun, and Ekiti South West Federal Constituency I in the House of Representatives reflects his determination to bring effective representation, infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and economic opportunities to the constituency.
