Comrade Idowu Afuye Reunites with Classmates at Igbara-Odo Ekiti
It was a joyful and memorable moment today as Comrade Idowu Afuye reunited with his old classmates at Igbara-Odo Ekiti, during the burial ceremony of the late father of one of their colleagues, Mr. Sunday Orikogbo, a UK-based philanthropist.
The event, which brought together former schoolmates and friends from different walks of life, was filled with emotions, laughter, and shared memories. Comrade Afuye, known for his humility and community spirit, described the reunion as “a refreshing opportunity to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate the bonds of friendship that time has not erased.”
He also commiserated with Mr. Sunday Orikogbo and his family, praying for the peaceful repose of their late father and for divine comfort for the bereaved family.
The atmosphere was a blend of solemn reflection and joyful reunion, reminding everyone present of the importance of friendship, unity, and support in times of both celebration and grief.
