Federal Housing Authority to Construct 200 Housing Units in Ekiti State
The Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Oyetunde Ojo, has announced plans to commence the construction of 200 housing units in Ekiti State aimed at addressing the state’s housing deficit. This significant project is set to begin in November or December of this year, following the conclusion of the rainy season.
Commitmentfrom the Ekiti State Government
Acknowledging the cooperative effort with the state government, Ojo revealed that Governor Biodun Oyebanji had generously provided 20 hectares of land for the housing development project, along with the necessary Certificate of Occupancy (C of O). This gesture reflects the governor’s commitment to fostering development initiatives within Ekiti State. Ojo remarked that the initiative demonstrates Governor Oyebanji’s dedication to enhancing the living conditions and welfare of Ekiti residents.
“The governor, in his magnanimous nature, gave us 20 hectares of land along Ekiti State University Road for this project,” Ojo stated. “We will initially build 100 units of two-bedroom bungalows, with plans for the remaining units to follow. We have completed all necessary paperwork, thanks to the governor’s assistance in securing the C of O without charge.”
