IJO ASEYORI CHERUBIM & SERAPHIM CHURCH CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY.
Honours Idowu Afuye as Father of the Day
The Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Ijo Aseyori, Akure, Ondo State has celebrated its 34th anniversary.
The Church, a member of the Frontiers Cherubim & Seraphim Church of Nigeria Worldwide, held the anniversary at the Church’s auditorium located opposite Total Filling Station, Oluwatuyi Quarters, Akure.
The celebration, which marked over three decades of unwavering faith, spiritual growth, and impactful service to God and humanity, drew worshippers and guests from the leadership of the Church, and across the region for thanksgiving, praise, and divine encounter.
Members of the congregation, who were filled with joy and gratitude to God Almighty, used the moment to both reflect on the Church’s journey so far to celebrate the goodness of God upon the lives of all members of the congregation.
Hon. Idowu Afuye, a notable, well respected community leader, dedicated and an adent believer in Lord Jesus Christ, was made the Father of the Day for the 2025 celebration.
Afuye, who was honoured for his steadfast faith, outstanding leadership, and contributions to community development delivered a powerful message of encouragement to the congregation to further inspire and encourage them to be more forthright, committed, dedicated, and futuristic towards attaining greater spiritual blessings from the Lord.
Also at the event were Mrs. Falade Stella Omolade, who was the Mother of the Day, the Coordinator/leader, Mr. Sunday Akinola, Apostle Tolu Akinola (Church Secretary), and Snr. Apostle Oluwasegun Ojo, who was the Apostle in charge of the anniversary ceremony..
Also in attendance at the occasion were Mrs. Bola Afe, and Dr. Jacob Olasupo Ojonmo (JP) of the Frontier C & S Church of Nigeria Worldwide.
Ministering at the event were Prophetesses Arowolo, Prophetess Yemi Bolaji, Taye Ojo, Ebun Ojo, Nike Adu, and Funmi Owolabi, who all delivered very powerful messages.
The Choir Master, Evangelist Wale Omotoso led the choir group to render a heavenly focussed songs that created an atmosphere of deep worship and thanksgiving.
The one-day anniversary celebration was not only a period of rejoicing, but also created opportunity for deep reflection, renewal, and recommitment to God’s work.
