Once again, the beauty of continuity in good governance shone brightly in the Land of Honour today as the Itapa–Ijelu–Omu Road in Oye Local Government Area was officially commissioned. The event was graced by the immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi (JKF), who performed the commissioning as the Special Guest of Honour.
The road project, originally initiated by the Fayemi administration, was successfully completed by Governor Biodun Oyebanji (BAO) — a clear reflection of the administration’s Continuity and Shared Prosperity mantra.
An evidently delighted Dr. Fayemi lauded Governor Oyebanji for his remarkable development strides across the state, describing him as his “greatest achievement in public service.” He further noted that Governor Oyebanji’s emergence as the APC consensus candidate for the 2026 governorship election is a resounding vote of confidence in his proven leadership, capacity, and impressive record in infrastructure development.
