Osi Youths Rally Behind Akinlayo and Governor Oyebanji at Strategic Stakeholders’ Meeting
In a significant display of unity and political commitment, the youth of Osi Ward in Ido-Osi Local Government Area converged at a strategic meeting convened by Hon. Chief Rotimi Falowo, where resounding support was reaffirmed for Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji ahead of his second-term bid. The gathering also solidified grassroots endorsement for Hon. Kolawole Davidson Akinlayo, as the preferred candidate for re-election into the House of Representatives, representing Ido-Osi, Moba, and Ilejemeje Federal Constituency.
Addressing the energized youth audience, Hon. Chief Rotimi Falowo expressed deep appreciation for their unwavering loyalty and political consciousness. He emphasized that the continuity of good governance at both state and federal levels remains critical to sustaining ongoing developmental strides across Ekiti State. According to him, the leadership of Governor Oyebanji has brought measurable progress, stability, and people-oriented governance that deserves consolidation.
Highlighting his remarks, Hon. Chief Rotimi Falowo pointed to several impactful interventions in Osi Ekiti, particularly in the education sector. Notably, he referenced the facilitation of classroom construction projects, which has significantly improved the learning environment for students, addressing long-standing infrastructural deficits. Beyond this, he commended ongoing community-focused initiatives spanning youth empowerment, infrastructure support, and social welfare programs that have enhanced the quality of life across the constituency.
He further charged party faithful and eligible residents to take proactive steps toward strengthening the democratic process. Specifically, he urged those who are yet to obtain their party membership cards to do so without delay, stressing that active participation within the party structure is essential for collective political success. Additionally, he called on all eligible voters to remain vigilant and ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) once distribution begins, noting that electoral participation is the cornerstone of sustaining democratic gains.
The meeting concluded with a unified resolve among stakeholders, youth leaders, and party members to mobilize extensively at the grassroots level. The consensus was clear: a renewed mandate for Governor Oyebanji and Hon. Akinlayo represents continuity, progress, and a stronger future for Ido-Osi, Moba, Ilejemeje, and indeed all of Ekiti State.
