BREAKING: Call for Fairness as Concerns Rise Over Planned Illegal Endorsements

Credible intelligence reports have revealed that a group of individuals, parading themselves as leaders, are allegedly planning to embark on a ward-to-ward tour on Thursday, 14th, with the intention of imposing endorsements for Senator Cyril Fasuyi and Hon. Ibrahim Olanrewaju ahead of the official release of the primary election timetable.

This development is not only premature but fundamentally विरोधs the principles of democracy, fairness, and internal party discipline. Such actions, if allowed to proceed, would amount to an attempt to subvert due process and undermine the credibility of the forthcoming primaries.

We therefore call on the organizers of this planned exercise to immediately desist from pursuing this unlawful agenda. The political space must remain open, transparent, and competitive for all aspirants who are willing to test their popularity and credibility through a fair contest.

Let it be clearly stated: there is no room for imposition, coercion, or backdoor endorsements in a democratic system. The will of the people must prevail—not the influence of a select few.

We strongly affirm our collective stance:

NO to illegal endorsements. NO to political manipulation. YES to credible and transparent primaries.

For the avoidance of doubt and in line with established guidelines:

* Friday, 15th has been designated for the House of Representatives primary election.

* Monday, 18th has been scheduled for the Senate primary election.

These timelines must be respected, and all stakeholders are urged to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes unity, fairness, and the integrity of the electoral process.

Democracy thrives where rules are respected and the people are allowed to decide freely. Let the process remain open. Let the contest be fair. Let credibility be our watchword.
