Omoleye Honoured As Political Leader Of The Year By Ekiti Summit News Media.
Hon. Biodun Omoleye has been honoured with the political leader of the year award by the Ekiti Summit News Media Group in recognition of his outstanding achievements, exemplary leadership and remarkable contributions to the socio-economic, cultural and development advancement of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.
The award was presented on Wednesday by the Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of the media organisation,Femi Alufa,who commended the federal lawmaker for his exceptional dedication to public service and humanity.
Hon. Omoleye is currently representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency ll in the House of Representatives, covering Ijero, Efon and Ekiti west local governments areas on the platform of All Progressive Congress.
Prior to his election into the National Assembly,the lawmaker had built an extensive career in public administration and political leadership. His previous appointments include serving as Special Adviser to the late former minister of education,Prof Babatunde Fafunwa, pioneer General Manager, Ekiti State Emergency Management Agency, Chairman of Ijero local government, Special Adviser on Governance,Policy and Strategy between 2010-2014.
He also served as Deputy Director-general of the governorship campaign organisation for the re-election of former governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, before later emerging as Chief of Staff to the Governor between 2018-2022.
At the National Assembly, Omoleye is currently the Chairman House Committee on Nigeria-Canada Parliamentary Friendship Group,where he is playing a significant role in strengthening parliamentary cooperation and bilateral relations between both countries.
In his response,Hon.. Omoleye expressed deep appreciation for the honour bestowed on him, pledging to remain committed to initiatives and programmes that would further promote the development of Ekiti State and improve the well-being of humanity.
