ROYAL BLESSINGS, GRASSROOTS CONFIDENCE: OMOLEYE GAINS MOMENTUM FOR SECOND TERM
The journey toward continuity and sustained development in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II has received a significant boost, as Hon. Biodun Omoleye secures royal blessings from the Regent of Aramoko Ekiti, Princess Sherifat Owolabi, ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary and the forthcoming general election.
In a remarkable display of unity between leadership and tradition, Hon. Omoleye was warmly received at the revered Alara Palace, where traditional rulers and party stakeholders reaffirmed their confidence in his leadership, performance, and unwavering commitment to the people.
Presenting the lawmaker at the palace, the APC Chairman in Ekiti West Local Government Area, Mr. Olu Aladeloye, highlighted the numerous developmental strides facilitated by Omoleye across Aramoko and the wider constituency. From long-neglected road projects now receiving attention, to impactful empowerment initiatives and consistent grassroots engagement, Omoleye’s track record speaks volumes of purposeful representation.
Aladeloye described him as a dependable, responsive, and people-centered leader whose style of governance has endeared him to the grassroots. He noted that the ongoing rehabilitation of key roads—many abandoned for decades—is a clear testament to Omoleye’s dedication to inclusive development and infrastructural renewal.
Adding his voice, the Asao of Aramoko, High Chief Isaac Adebayo, praised Omoleye’s humility, integrity, and competence. He emphasized that beyond visible projects, the lawmaker has quietly impacted lives through personal interventions, support for families, and community-focused initiatives that have strengthened the social fabric of the constituency.
“His works are evident, but even more remarkable are the silent efforts that have transformed lives,” the High Chief remarked.
In his response, Hon. Omoleye expressed deep appreciation for the royal blessings and continued trust from the traditional institution. He reassured the people of his commitment to completing ongoing road projects within 60 days, alongside the installation of solar-powered streetlights to improve safety and stimulate economic activities.
Reaffirming his vision for greater impact, Omoleye outlined key initiatives already delivered, including scholarship schemes for students, empowerment programs for traders and artisans, and financial support for small-scale businesses. He maintained that his leadership philosophy is rooted in delivering real, measurable results rather than engaging in unnecessary publicity.
“I am not driven by noise, but by impact. What matters is the positive change in the lives of our people, and by God’s grace, we will do even more,” he stated.
In her royal response, Princess Sherifat Owolabi offered prayers and officially bestowed the palace’s blessings upon the lawmaker. She expressed strong confidence in his chances of emerging victorious at both the APC primary and the general election, while urging him to remain steadfast in prioritizing the welfare of the people.
This historic visit not only symbolizes a deepening bond between leadership and traditional authority but also reinforces Hon. Omoleye’s growing acceptance and strong grassroots support. As the political season unfolds, one message resonates clearly across Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II—continuity, proven leadership, and impactful representation remain the path forward.
